Why i think guys act tough

Many times you may hear this guy is a jerk and he can't show his emotions. I sit here and think of random stuff about relationships and love. Why do I think that guys act tough? I will tell you I feel that sometimes guy are pressured to be the stronger person. So if a guy shows his emotions he feels that he is being weak a wimp or a wuss whatever you want to call it. Sometimes I don't think its that a man doesn't show emotion its that maybe he's afraid to. Guys don't show their emotions sometimes I feel because they are with afraid that if they finally do his girlfriend, lover or wife will leave him. Another reason I feel that guys act tough at times is because of society pressures. If a man tries to show emotion like crying then some would say he is gay. I believe in the saying it takes a bigger man to cry. Does that mean he should throw a fit and act like a baby? I feel that the answer is no. What I am saying is crying is a great way to release inner pain that you are feeling. So ladies please understand that sometimes we don't want to show emotion because we don't want you to think we are less than a man. I also want to clear something up I don't want you ladies to think I feel it's your fault because its not. Some guys really do care and while we like to be strong we just don't want you to think less of us guys when we do show emotion. I think sometimes we act tough because we want to be brave for you ladies and make you feel safe and secure with us. Some moments I admit I feel afraid and sometimes a hug makes everything better. If I would act tough its only so you don't feel that I'm an insecure wimp. If you have comments about this post please send them my way. I love to hear your intake on this. Women and Mind Reading

Ladies you are very interesting. I do need to discuss something though. Some of you get mad when a guy can't tell what your thinking. Please understand that guys are not mind readers. You need to communicate to him what you need or want. Some guys feel bad when we can't figure out what you want. I know Im one of those guys. I love you ladies but when you get mad about a guy not knowing what you want or need and he can't read your mind its plain silly. Now to all the guys if she does tell you what she wants or needs you better listen to her. So to any ladies who read this if Im in a relationship with you in the future and I can't read your mind please don't get mad at me. I feel bad if I can't read your mind. So please forgive me if I don't know what your feeling if you don't tell me.

Men and Women and housework

Everything I post is based on my opinion of course. I'm no relationship expert or anything. I write everything based on what I've seen and or experienced. So this topic is about men, women and housework. Women go to work just as much as men. There are some women who stay home and take care of the kids and do the housework. I know that men go to work to try and put food on the table. While yes guys do need to relax after work. A man should try to do his best to help out his wife with the housework or the kids. Other times there are cases where the lady goes to work and the man stays at home and does the housework which kind of reminds me of the movie Mr. Mom with Michael Keaton and Terri Garr. I think sometimes us guys tend to be lazy and not pick up around the house. Am I saying we have to be a neat freak no. I do think that people should if they have empty cups not have them laying around because it's how ants and bugs come in. I also don't recommend having food sitting out besides mice and rats like to get a hold of that. Then you have furry friends who are like unwanted house guests who don't pay the rent.

Mother In Laws and Mothers

This one I have no experience with but I've seen it. What am I talking about? I'm talking about Mother In Laws. It seems like when a guy or girl gets married or in a relationship the mother in law does all she can to cause trouble and bring tension to the relationship. For guys who get married or have a relationship with a woman his mother will try to lie and manipulate to break her son and his girlfriend up. I ten to think alot of it has to relate to being jealous. Jealousy seems to rear its ugly head when some people get relationships. I feel that some mothers who have sons need to let them go after they turn 18 and let them live their life. It doesn't mean that your son shouldn't once in a while come visit you. I can tell you one time I seen a mother in law cause a problem. My mom got remarried to this man and he was too much of a momma's boy. Let's just say that it caused a lot of problems. Whatever his mommy wanted he did for her in spite that it made my mom mad. When a man or woman gets married they are suppose to leave there mother and father and not invite them into the relationship. Should you go visit them of course unless they cause so much family tension. You just don't go and see your parents all the time when you get married or sometimes you see them less when you get a girlfriend or boyfriend. If you have a story whether your married or in a relationship and your mother or mother in law caused a problem send me your comments. I understand that mothers try to be protective but when her son or daughter turns 18 they need to let them make there own decisions. I feel that they should only offer advice if asked and not just throw around there two cents like a big ton of weight. Now if your son or daughter is under 18 its a different story. So do any of you have a mother or mother in law who drives you insane? Share your story if you like. I sometimes wonder if there ought to be a group if there isn't already called Controlling Mothers Annonmous (CMA). What do you think about all of this? Am I a babbling fool or do you agree with me?

Blind Dates

Has anyone ever been on a blind date? If so what was it like? Was it awful or was it the best blind date you've ever been on? Share your stories I'd love to hear them no matter how good or bad. I know that I've been fixed up on a blind date many times. There is a reason they call it a a blind date. You don't know what your getting. What always amazes me about a blind date is how high the person that sets you up with someone else builds them up. You start to think ok maybe this will work. So you meet say at a coffee house, supermarket or restaurant. When you meet her or him depends on your sex you may go out to dinner and a movie or out for coffee. The blind dates I've been on most of them I spend most of the night asking about them because I don't like to talk alot about myself on a date. I usually give a woman about 2 to 3 dates to try and get comfortable around me. I don't care if she necessarily talks alot. I would though like it if she cared enough about me to ask me a few questions about me or what I like. I remember one time a pretty woman set me up on a date because she couldn't go out to dinner with me. Let me just say it was awful. I don't want to be rude and say she was ugly looking but she was. I gave her a shot though and it was horrible. She was not only ugly on the outside but she was ugly inside too. I wouldn't have mind if she was ugly a bit if she would have had a decent personality but she had a nasty attitude. I didn't particularly care for it. She was very interested in me and wanted a romantic relationship with her and I had to tell her I wasn't into her that way. Before I did that though I did everything rude to try and get her to get the point I wasn't into her. I would bury my face in a newspaper and everything. It was not easy trying to let someone down. I also remember another blind date I had. This one was really weird though because a girl I was dating in high school was trying to get me to hang out with her friend and was cool if I went out with her. After me and the first girl was dating broke up and by the way she was hot. I went and checked out this other girl. I went to her house and it was horrible. This girl was really ugly and smelled awful. She smelled like pig farmer and didn't bathe. It led me to think something about the first girl I was dating. You were pretty and then you go and fix me up with someone who was ugly, smelled awful, was boring. I was mad and its to this day while I dread the blind date. I did do some blind dates afterwards though. There was one blind date I actually had that wasn't too bad. One problem with it though was I was just coming out of a breakup. She was the best blind date though I had ever been on. I was actually starting to like this girl but I felt guilty though. I was having problem getting over an ex girlfriend who I was engaged to. The good thing was when I was with this girl on a blind date I didn't think about my ex. When I was away I started having thoughts about my ex fiancee again. I was scared though to pursue a relationship with this girl I was dating so i played it casual. I now can't get her to talk to me to this day and I don't even know what I did wrong. I finally got the courage to say if she doesn't want to be with me then forget her. I also had someone try to fix me up with her friend only to find out how controlling she is. I can't stand controlling manipulative women who thinks its ok to act this way. I don't expect no woman to be perfect because Lord knows I'm not perfect. I do expect her to be decent and respectful towards me and not try to control me. So if you have a blind date experience you'd like to share then send me your comments or opinions about this post.

Men and Working

I really feel that women need to read this article. Some men the ones that aren't slackers and have a job women need to understand that men have to work for a living. They go to work for 8 or more hours a day to do many things. Provide for there lady especially if she wants jewelry and the finer things in life. Women who are in relationships or are married need to appreciate there man working. I personally get sick of these women who complain that there man isn't home enough. It's not his fault blame the company he works for for that. He's probably stressed out enough at his job already and if you sit there and gripe and complain that he's not home enough it will make things worse. Not only does he go to work to provide for you but if you have children with him you need to understand that's hes trying to put food on the table for you and the children. I think if you want a man to spend more time with be nice about it. Maybe ask him if he could ask his boss if he could at least once every 3 to 4 months take a day or a weekend off. Another way a lady could help out even though you already do dishes is blogging. You won't make lots of money tommorrow with it. Find a topic you love and talk about it and learn how to drive traffic to it and add meta tags to it. This could help provide a secondary income if you get really good. If you made enough money at it you and your man could have more time together. So ladies don't complain if your man goes to work alot to support you and your child be thankful for it. Give him a hug when he gets home to you. Maybe your guy is at the office alot but again remember why to give you a better life. Would you rather him be at home and not making any money and possibly being a bum or would you rather him be working making money to give you a life? The choice is yours.

Women and Housework

You may wonder what in the world I'm talking about here. Im about women who do housework. How in the world can a guy relate to this you may wonder. I will tell you how. I as a single guy lived in my own house and let me tell you it was a big pain to try and clean all by yourself. Men may come home to there girlfriends or there wife and think that she hasn't done nothing. Techinally if you think about it she's done a lot. Your wife or girlfriend depending on your living situation has done enough work to equal two full time jobs and doesn't get paid for it. I think every man before he gets married should be required to try and clean his own house so he can see how rough a woman has it. If you think thats rough imagine not only trying to clean the house but also have to deal with loud screaming children at times. I personally don't know what being a woman is like because I'm a man but I do know what house cleaning is like well without the kids. So to all the men out there who have a wife or a live in girlfriend who cleans the house while you go to work say thank you and maybe do something nice for her. Also too if she cooks you your favorite meals say thank you. Show her some appreciation for what she does while your at work. Buy her some flowers, take her out to dinner, write her a love note without being dirty unless she likes that. Never take what your live in girlfriend or wife do for you for granted because she could drop you like a hot potato and look for another man better than you.

Let's Just Be Friends

I know you may read this title and think what am i talking about. I will tell you what I'm talking about here's the scenario. A guy meet a beautiful woman he finds her very pretty and sexy. He likes her and wants to get to know her. So he starts doing all these nice things for her to get her attention and to get her to like him. The idea sounds good on paper but in reality it doesn't work. Why doesn't it work because she doesn't feel any attraction for him. He does these nice things for her for a while and then finally gets up the courage to ask her out for coffee or on a date. He's thinking that she's going to say yes but then she says I like you but only as a friend and then she says let's just be friends. How do i know what I'm talking about because I've been there way too many times as sad as it is. After a while when I hear a woman says let's just be friends I want to say to her now no thank you I have enough female friends. I stopped trying to win the approval of females because I use to find that no matter what I did for one she wasn't satisified. If you told a woman they liked you then they would make up a lie saying I've got a boyfriend or that I'm too busy. Now I almost at times think like the rap song in the 90's by Positive K called I Got A Man. I almost want to tell them what's your man got to do with me. I feel sorry for guys who like a woman only to hear the phrase let's just be friends. Some of the ones I liked and became friends with only to turn around later and act like there too good to hang out with you and to those females I would say it's there loss. Can you turn a woman who is your friend into more sure. How to do that I don't really have a clue at this point in time because if I did I would be dating one of them. Women and there slacker boyfriends or husbands.

I am so often amazed at some of the relationships I see in this country. What really gets me the most is when a woman is going to work and working two to three jobs. Why you may ask this happens. The reason I believe is because some of these ladies meet these guys who don't want to go out and look for a job. If you go out there and look for one and can't find one that is one thing but when you are so stinking lazy and refuse to at least try for one then its another story. A part of me feels sorry for these ladies but then when they chose to stay in the relationship then there not doing themselves any justice. I personally think that a woman that is in this kind of relationship should leave her boyfriend. If she is married to this guy then she should encourage him to go and look for a job. A woman should not have to work but if she wants to she should only have to work one job. She shouldn't have to work two or more jobs to support her slacker boyfriend. What is even worse is if they have kids together and he refuses to work. If a man doesn't want to go out and work he should at least do something from home to try and generate some cash. These slacker men need to realize that if you don't work you don't eat. I think the alternative group Offspring says it best about slacker men Why Don't You Get A Job. I would like to hear your opinions about this whether you agree with me or disagree with me on this. I like to know what you think.

Men and there egos

What is with some of us guys with our egos? We have this macho attitude and acting all tough all the time. Im not saying we shouldn't be tough and manly but there is a difference between confident and arrogant. People who are arrogant tend to think there better than you and tend to think they don't need anybody. People who are confident know that they are just as good as the next guy but doesn't display an overboard cocky attitude about it. Why is it too when we mess up in a relationship we sometimes think we don't need to apoligize or that real men don't have to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry but the last time I've heard falling in love usually means you have to say sorry to your wife, girlfriend or fiance alot. Im confident but Im also man enough to say Im sorry to a woman if I know I did something wrong. It also amazes me when a man says I don't need her and then later is begging to have her back. It's that deadly sin pride that tends to get in the way in relationships. Men need to learn this when it comes to women even if your right your wrong. To all the men who have a hot wife and who cooks cleans and loves you be grateful for it. She could leave you for someone else who will appreciate her. So appreciate her and try not to take her for granted. If you do take her for granted man up say your sorry and try not to do it again. Not that there is anything wrong with a woman wanting a man who is finacially secure or has muscles but if thats all your looking for in a relationship you will be screwed. If you want that look for a man who has that but also has a decent heart. I admit ladies us men sometimes let our egos get in the way. I want to hear what you think on this subject so to all the ladies and all the guys send your comments and tell me your opinion on this.

Women and Being Independent

I often have heard women say they want to be independent.  What gets me about this is they are listening to there friends advice about a guy when they don't necessarily know him.  If a woman wants to really be independent she should make up her own mind about a guy and not always listening to the advice of her friends, family members etc etc etc.   To me if a woman's friends want to put down her boyfriend then make sure that they actually have proof of him cheating on her.   Don't always listen to the rumors.   How do i know so much about this because I've actually lost relationships where a lady would listen to everyone else about me before checking out the information.    It's very hurtful when a lady I'm dating and her friends are always talking smack about me when they don't even know me.   Bascially stop assuming because you make a you  know what out of you and me.   So if all you ladies want to really be independent then make up your own mind about a guy and not listen to the advice of your friends.  Sometimes your friends can lead you astray.  You might actually miss out on getting to know a great guy who might have bad boy ways like that you like thats if that is your kind of guy.   How would you ever know if your always listening to everyone else all the time with the exception of the Creator. 

Love Songs

I remember growing up in the 70's and 80's and hearing some of the greatest Love songs ever.  I love the love songs back then they were sung with emotion and feeling.  When a song is sung it should be sung with love and passion and emotion.   I can even remember in the 90's R and B artists wrote some of the greatest love songs ever.  One group that came to mind for me was the group Shai when they sang If I Ever Fall In Love, Baby I'm Yours, Comforter and Together Forever.   Another singer I remember really enjoying was Luther Vandeross. Someone told me once that listening to Luther would put some ladies in a romantic mood.   Luther did pump out them love songs.  Babyface is another R And B singer who really sang with emotion with songs like Never Keeping Secrets, When Can I See You, This Is For The Lover.   Not only did R And B singers sing with passion even some of the rock groups who wrote love ballads sang with all there heart.  Some songs i can think of are I Want To Know What Love Is by Foreigner,  Amanda by Boston,  Open Arms by Journey,  Still Loving You by Scorpions,  You're The Inspiration by Chicago, Love Of A Lifetime by Firehouse.  Air Supply was a soft rock group that specialized mainly in love songs.  Many of the songs they sang were All Out Of Love,  The One That You Love,  Lost in Love, Making Love Out Of Nothing At All, Even The Nights are better are just some of there biggest songs.   Country music also has some very good love songs like George Strait I Cross My Heart,  It's Your Love by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill,  I Swear by John Michael Montgomery, Feels So Right by Alabama.   I like love songs because you can slow dance with someone of  the opposite sex and hold each other close.   I even am working on writing some of my own love songs that hopefully some day some singer will want to sing and i can make some money off of it.  

Valentine's Day and Romance

Today is Valentine's Day.   It is the time of year where men usually buy a woman some flowers, candy, card or something very romantic.   I personally think that men need to be romantic more often than just on valentine's day.   Some guys be romantic because they enjoy there lady or like her company.  A guy should never be romantic just to get sex.  A guy should be romantic to his lady because he loves her, cares for her and wants to see her smile.   While i know sometimes a men can't always afford to buy flowers he should buy her some once in a while or if not at least buy  a card, write a love letter, make dinner.  Basically a guy needs to put some thought into it when he is romantic.  I don't recommend only be romantic on Valentine's day I recommend it the rest of the year.   So guys be romantic and buy her those cards, chocolate, flowers, lingerie, go see a romantic movie because you love her not to get sex from her.   To all the single people out there enjoy your life and do what you love and have confidence and you will find that special someone someday.
